539 Thick-billed Flowerpecker

The Thick-billed Flowerpecker (Dicaeum agile) is 10-12 cm long tiny passerine bird with light grey head, dark grey back, light buffy streaked underparts, dark strong beak, and grey legs and feet. it is a resident breeder found in tropical southern Asia. It generally lives in the tree tops of forests feeding on fruits, berries, nectar, and sometimes insects. It builds a well camouflaged nest that looks like a dry leaf hanging like a pendant from a thin horizontal tree branch3-15 meters above the ground. The female lays 2-4 rosy-white eggs with brownish spots.
