555 Clamorous Reed Warbler

The Clamorous Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus stentoreus) is 18-20 cm large passerine with plain brown back, whitish underparts, flattened forehead, and pointed strong bill. It is an Old World bird found in most of Asia. The female constructs an intricate, deep, cup-shaped nest in vegetation above water and lays 3-5 eggs that she incubates. The male hardly participates in building the nest, but does help in tending the chicks.
