The Common Iora (Aigithina tiphia) is a small, 13-17 cm long, bird. The breeding male has black crown, blue-grey pointed bill, dark green to black upperparts, black wings with white bars, blackish tail, and bright yellow underparts. It is found in the Indian Subcontinent, Southwest China, and Southeast Asia. This highly active bird feeds on insects in pairs or small groups, usually in the tree canopy.
