008 Painted Stork

The Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocefala) is a large (93-102 cm tall) wading bird with a heavy yellow bill, orange or reddish bare head, black breast band, whitish body, short greenish glossy black tail, and yellowish to red legs. It is found in the wetlands of tropical plains of South and Southeast Asia. They feed in groups mainly on small fish in shallow waters.
