563 Indian Silverbill

The Indian Silverbill (Lonchura malabarica), also known as White-throated Munia, is about 11cm long with a conical silver-grey bill, buff-brown upperparts, dark wings, black tail, and white underside. It is a native breeder foraging in small flocks in the grasslands and scrubs across India. They are known to occupy old nests of Baya Weaver as well build their own nests.
